Week 19: DO NOT DISTURB (Baby Boy Version)

Ever wondered why a girl who is sleeping alone her hotel room placed the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign at the door knob? Most probably she’s dancing even at 4:43AM.

NOTE: On my way back to my hotel room in Microtel Baguio, the taxi I rode in was playing the song ‘Baby Boy’ by Beyonce. I remember dancing that song six years ago for the Orientation Program in college. I can clearly remember some of the steps that’s why I decided to record myself while dancing it. Days after, I heard the news that our high school dance choreographer Kuya Monarc died in Bahrain due to Leukemia Though he is not the person responsible for the choreography of this sequence, I still consider him as one of my best mentors when it comes to dancing. Our group in high school won in a lot of competitions because of him. Now, I am determined to dance again. Hopefully, I’ll be able to reunite with my high school co-dancers and record a dance video together as a tribute to him.
